Fabian Gregory, the newly appointed head coach of the national men’s team is also the Glenwood 1st XI hockey coach.
Gregory has been the national women's team assistant coach since 2005 and has headed up the SA Hockey Coach Education portfolio for the last eight years, playing an integral role in developing SA Hockey's coach accreditation framework, which is endorsed by the Netherlands’ National Hockey Board as well as world hockey controlling body the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

Tim Swiel and the Cell C Sharks XV were not in a forgiving mood as they hammered the Tusker Simba XV 40-3 (halftime 12-0) at City Park in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.
The log-leading Cell C Sharks XV have been in superb form going into the match while the Tusker Simba XV have not recorded a victory since the opening round of the competition.
