Glenwood Old Boy Earns National Colours

Glenwood High School Old Boy Sanwabiso Skhosana has once again reached a great achievement as he has been awarded his National Colours and will be representing South Africa at the World Junior Championships in the 400m and 4 x 400m relay at the end of July in Eugene in the USA.

Sanwabiso will also leave for Europe on the 23rd of June and races in Brussels (Nivelles) on the 28th, he then to Portugal where he is hoping to secure a mid week race on the 2nd of July. On the 5th and 6th of July he will compete in the Portuguese National Junior Championships.

Sanwabiso's goal in 2011 was to take part in the Junior World Championships in 2014 and he has accomplished this amazing achievement he set out for himself.

Sanwabiso with his time of  46.11 in 2014 was 5th in the World Junior Rankings with the difference between 2nd and 5th a mere 0.14 seconds! He will be looking to better his time in the upcoming championships and place 1st in the World Rankings.
