The largest and oldest schools sports festival in South Africa is set to grow even larger in 2015, with the addition of a Prep Sports Festival to take place the weekend before the Easter weekend.

We attract top sporting schools – 47 in total

The Rector of St Stithians, Tim Nuttall, states that “St Stithians is proud of the way the Festival has become a must-attend event each year. We attract top sporting schools – 47 in total – from across South Africa, as well as Zimbabwe, Namibia and the United Kingdom.”

The Festival is an exciting family event. There are two concerts, hospitality venues, and a variety of vendors and stalls. Children from 4-10 are catered for in a secure and fenced-off entertainment area, while we offer teens from 11-18 a Chill Zone that boasts music, access to WiFi and plenty of refreshments.

Tim Nuttall continues, “We appreciate the dedication of our parent and alumnus volunteers who work with the school staff to make the Festival happen. We are grateful for the anchor sponsorship provided by Standard Bank.  This is a great partnership between St Stithians’ staff, parents, alumni and corporate sponsors.”
