Glenwood played Northwood at home.

It was a great day for rugby and all the teams played exceptionally well making their school proud.

Young flanker Rupert Kay gathered a ball from flyhalf Potgieter and managed to dive over for the first score.

Coulson followed soon after to score a great try that was also not converted.

The second half started better with Glenwood getting the ball through good phase play and being rewarded with a try by burly lock forward Michael van Aardt.

Potgieter missed this conversion and the score changed to 15-3 in Glenwood's favour.

Northwood bounced back with a try of their own and failed to convert putting the pressure on Glenwood 15-8.

Glenwood defended well for the best of 5 minutes before breaking away and scoring the last try of the game to put it out of reach for Northwood,

20-8.
