After showing impressive patches throughout the season, the Kearsney 1st water polo team was keen to put together a complete performance against St Charles in their final match of the year. Kearsney were disciplined from the first whistle and constantly pressured the opposition into mistakes.

The score was 7-0 at the end of the 1st chukka and the 2nd looked to be heading the same way, but the St Charles goalkeeper had a very good spell to deny the Kearsney attack.  It wasn’t soon though, and Kearsney rallied and were more clinical with Matrics Patrick Zietkiewicz, Andries Schoeman and Stephen Tedder excelling in their final game for Kearsney.

Kearsney has been a strong defensive unit this season but also showed excellent finishing to record a 20-1 win over St Charles.
