All roads leads to Gaborone from the 22-31 May 2014 when Botswana hosts an estimated 54 African countries and 2 500 young athletes as they compete in 21 sporting codes.

This exciting sporting event is the 2nd edition of the African Youth Games for Athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 years, to prepare and/ or qualify for the Youth Olympics of the same year.

Taking the baton from Morocco, Botswana is proud host of the 2014 African Youth Games, dubbed Gaborone 2014.

With Gaborone 2014, Botswana will claim her place on the map as a destination of choice for sport, culture, education, youth development, business and leisure among others.
